Welcome

Welcome to Stratford-on-Avon Webcasting Portal

What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. The council meeting is filmed and broadcast in real time as the meeting is happening. Whatever internet device you are using, be it at home or via a mobile device you can watch and hear the meeting as it is taking place.

Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section of the meeting again, then you can view the archive of the webcast. The archives allow you to view a meeting and, through the use of the index points, allow you to jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.

Benefits:

Meetings and the decisions made become more transparent to the community

People no longer need to travel to the council offices to see meetings take place

Those who are unable to attend can catch up at their convenience

Meetings being webcast:

Stratford-on-Avon District Council are webcasting The Cabinet meeting today.

From the Webcast screen, you will also be able to view any associated documents and presentations linked to the topics discussed at the meeting.
